2026 Seward County Community College Softball Prospect Camp Registration

Come show off your skills and earn valuable instruction from the Seward County Community College softball coaching staff at our August prospect camps! Head coach Kimber Cortemelia as well as assistant coaches and select student-athletes will be on hand for skill work, competition, evaluation and a facility tour!

Camp 1: Saturday, August 8th, 2026. (1-4 pm competition, skill work, evaluation. 4-5 pm Questions for coaches, facility tour)

Camp 2: Sunday, August 9th, 2026. (1-4 pm competition, skill work, evaluation. 4-5 pm Questions for coaches, facility tour)

Who: 2026-2030 high school graduates are welcome.

Location: Seward County Community College (1801 N Kansas Ave, Liberal, KS 67901). Camp will be held at either French Family Field (outdoor field for Saints Softball on campus) or the Sharp Family Champions Center (Indoor turf field and facility home of Saints Softball on campus). Exact location for check in will be emailed out prior to camp depending on weather.

What to Bring: BAT, GLOVE, HELMET, TENNIS SHOES, CLEATS, WATER BOTTLE

Payment: $40, cash or check made out to 'Kimber Cortemelia - Seward Softball' at check-in

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in softball activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, being struck by balls, bats, or other equipment, weather-related conditions, and other risks that may result in serious injury, illness, permanent disability, or death. I voluntarily allow the participant named above to participate in the Seward County Community College Softball Camp and knowingly assume all risks associated with participation.

2. Release and Waiver of Liability

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the camp, I, on behalf of myself and the participant, release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Seward County Community College, its Board of Trustees, employees, coaches, volunteers, agents, representatives, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to participation in the camp, including injuries or property damage, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct as permitted by applicable law.

3. Medical Treatment Authorization

I certify that the participant is physically able to participate in camp activities. In the event of an emergency, I authorize Seward County Community College personnel to obtain medical treatment for the participant as deemed necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

4. Acknowledgment

I have carefully read this Assumption of Risk, Waiver of Liability, and Medical Authorization Form. I understand its contents and sign it voluntarily. I understand that if the participant is a minor, the form is being executed by a parent or legal guardian.
