Bio

Assistant Coach Bianca Gutierrez enters her fourth season on staff for the Lady Saints ahead of the 2025-26 season. 

Prior to Seward, Gutierrez spent a year and a half as Graduate Assistant and Head Junior Varsity Coach at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. As graduate assistant and JV Head Coach, Gutierrez was in charge of all film breakdown and scouting reports while off the court she executed academic tracking and equipment management. During her two year stint Briar Cliff made back-to-back conference appearances and qualified for the national tournament during the 2021-22 season garnering a Top 25 ranking in the polls. Prior to Briar Cliff, Gutierrez was on staff at Idaho State University as Graduate Assistant with her primary roles centered around supervision of student managers and breakdown of film.

Gutierrez attended College of the Desert (2014-16) where she starred on the basketball team, ranking third in the state of California for 3-point shooting percentage. Following her time at the College of the Desert she was recruited and transferred to University of Maine Fort Kent where she ranked third in the nation for 3-point shooting percentage and was an All-American Honorable Mention her senior year.

Gutierrez earned a Bachelor's degree from University of Maine Fort Kent (2019) and a Master's degree from Briar Cliff University (2022).
