The 2026 volleyball season will be Jessie Jerome's first on staff at SCCC.

Jerome, a native of Rawlins, Wyoming, joins the Saints after completing her playing career at Henderson State University.

Jerome was a senior setter for the Reddies in 2025, appearing in 17 matches and 40 sets. Before Henderson State, Jerome spent the 2024 season at Manhattan University, where she earned MAAC All-Academic Team honors as a junior.

She began her collegiate career at the NJCAA level, playing two seasons at McCook Community College in McCook, Nebraska. She earned all-conference and all-region honors at McCook after totaling 1,248 assists, 503 digs, 265 kills, 116 blocks and 73 service aces across two seasons.

In the classroom, Jerome was named to the MCC President’s List twice. She also earned NJCAA All-Academic second-team honors, which recognizes student-athletes with a GPA between 3.80 and 3.99.

Jerome also brings club coaching experience to Seward County. She served as the Arkansas Select Volleyball 16U National head coach and 17U Elite assistant coach from 2025-26 while also working as the program’s recruiting coordinator. She also coached NYC Juniors 12 National in 2024.

Jerome earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Henderson State in 2026.
