Seward County Men's Tennis receives 9 ITA National rankings

TEMPE, ARI. - Seward County Community College men's tennis program sees six singles ranking, and three double teams receive national rankings in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Junior College men's national rankings. After another top performance in the 2021 fall season, the Saints are rewarded with nine total rankings as they prepare for their spring season. 

Seward County's Luciano Fisicaro is ranked seventh in singles after making it to the semifinals in the singles draw of the regional tournament in the fall. Luke Quaynor finished in the semifinals of the regional tournament in the fall as well and is ranked eighth. Juan "Mauri" Gonzalez enters the ranking at number 10 in the nation after making it to the quarterfinals of the regionals.

Karlo Krolo also made it to the quarterfinals and is ranked 12th in the nation. Kyllian Savary is ranked 15th in the nation, and Martins Abamu is ranked 27th to wrap up the Saints singles rankings. 

Seward County has all three of their double teams ranked with the Regional champions Krolo and Fisicaro at number three, who placed third at the ITA National Tournament in the fall of 2021. Franco Vecchia and Gonzalez are ranked 10th, and Abamu and Savary are placed 11th in the rankings.

The Saints prepare for the spring season with their first match scheduled for February 4th at Collin College.
