    LIBERAL, Kan. – The seventh-ranked Seward County Community College women’s tennis team had its winning streak snapped at seven with a 5-4 loss to No. 8 Cowley College on Friday at Blue Bonnet Park. The Lady Saints fell to 10-4.

    GREELEY, Colo. – The No. 7 Seward County Community College women’s tennis team breezed past Colorado College, 5-0, on Sunday for their seventh straight win. The Lady Saints improved to 10-3 overall.

    PUEBLO, Colo. – The seventh-ranked Seward County Community College women’s tennis team extended their winning streak to six games with a 6-1 win over Division II Colorado State-Pueblo on Friday. The Lady Saints improved to 9-3 overall.

    PENSACOLA, Fla. – The fifth-ranked Seward County Community College women’s tennis team finished the Pensacola Invitational on a winning note with a 7-2 triumph over No. 14 Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. The Lady Saints are 5-3 and went 2-2 at the tournament.
  • No. 5 Lady Saints split matches at Pensacola Invitational

    PENSACOLA, Fla. – The No. 5 Seward County Community College women’s team tennis split its matches on Day Two of the Pensacola Invitational. The Lady Saints lost to second-ranked ASA (Miami), 8-1, but beat No. 20 Harford, 7-2, on Sunday. Seward, which is 4-3, only had five players due to injury and had to default No.6 singles and No. 3 doubles matches.
  • Fifth-ranked Lady Saints suffers loss to No. 1 Tyler JC

    MIDLOTHIAN, Texas – The Seward County Community College women’s tennis team is ranked fifth in the nation, but was no match for No. 1 Tyler Junior College, losing 9-0, on Friday. The Lady Saints suffered their first team loss of the season, falling to 3-1.

  • Lady Saints Open Season With Win Over No. 7 St. Pete

    The Seward County women's tennis team enters the 2019 spring season with high expectations after being ranked number five in the ITA National Polls.  They didn't dissappoint in their opening match, defeating the 7th ranked St. Petersburg Titans 6-3 Friday morning in Texas.
  • Seward County Dominates Final ITA Fall Rankings

    The final fall individual rankings for the Seward County tennis programs were released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The rankings saw the Saints hold the No. 1 ranked singles and doubles team, while four more players ranked in the top 50 for singles and two more doubles teams ranked in the top 25.  On the women’s side, three Lady Saints found themselves in the top 25, while also holding the No. 5 ranked doubles team.
  • Lady Saints Fall In Opening Round of ITA Cup

    A disappointing ending capped off what was an other fabulous fall season for the Lady Saints tennis program as both singles and the doubles team lost in the opening round of the ITA Cup.  The loss nixed any chance of competing for the ITA National Championship in those brackets.

    The Seward County Lady Saints tennis program came away with a pair of ITA Central Regional Championships on Sunday as Patricia Panta won the singles draw and the doubles draw with the help of her teammate Maria Aveiga.
  • Seward County Names Strickland Assistant Tennis Coach

    The Seward County athletic department has announced the hiring of Dylan Strickland as the Assistant Tennis Coach for the Seward County men’s and women’s tennis programs.  He will join head coach Chase Ashley on the coaching staff.
