    TUCSON, Ariz. – The Seward County Community College men’s tennis team ended its season with a third-place finish at Nationals. The Saints ended up with 33 points, trailing only champion Tyler Junior College and second-place ASA Miami.

After a grueling loss to Division I University of Northern Colorado, the Saints cruised to its seventh win in eight matches and improved to 10-5 overall.

    The Seward County men's tennis team has earned enough respect that Division I schools want to play them. The Saints started their season on Monday, traveling to take on Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.  The Falcons defeated the No. 3 NJCAA Saints 6-1.
  • Seward County Dominates Final ITA Fall Rankings

    The final fall individual rankings for the Seward County tennis programs were released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). The rankings saw the Saints hold the No. 1 ranked singles and doubles team, while four more players ranked in the top 50 for singles and two more doubles teams ranked in the top 25.  On the women’s side, three Lady Saints found themselves in the top 25, while also holding the No. 5 ranked doubles team.
  • Saints Tennis Claims Pair of National Titles

    The Seward County tennis program claimed two more national titles on Saturday, sweeping the ITA Cup singles and doubles championships. Nicolas Rousset become the first singles ITA National Champion in Seward program history, while the tadem of Sander Jans and Gabriel Nery claimed the third ITA Doubles National Championship for Seward.

    The dominance of Seward County tennis continues into the 2018 fall season, as the Saints came away with the singles and doubles title in the ITA Regionals over the weekend.  Seward was guaranteed the trophy in both finals matches as the Saints were pitted against each other for the titles.
  • Seward County Names Strickland Assistant Tennis Coach

    The Seward County athletic department has announced the hiring of Dylan Strickland as the Assistant Tennis Coach for the Seward County men’s and women’s tennis programs.  He will join head coach Chase Ashley on the coaching staff.
