Lynch advances to 2nd. Xavier De Leon scores. Then Michael Oyervides doubles and finally Nate Williams hits a ground ball and reaches on an error by third baseman Braxton Allen. Oyervides scores.

Top of the seventh and with one more chance to pull ahead, Allen steps up with one out, count 2-1 and Allen hits a three run homerun which is what the Saints needed at the time, but after neither Bergdall or Sackett could capitalize on the last chance momentum and the final score is 11-12.
